Description:
The legendary Braun SK 55 has been designed by Hans Gugelot + Dieter Rams, in 1963. It is equipped with a vinyl player, radio unit and a built-in Braun speaker box. The SK55 is an absolute beauty and design classic that you will find in MOMA and other museums. The radio part has been extended for longwave reception (LW). The PC3 SV turntable has been equipped with a stereo crystal pickup system and thus prepared for stereo playback (SV). The SK 55 remains a mono system. Condition: Very well preserved original condition. It has been reclaimed with great effort and care while making sure to preserve all original parts. The previous owner had taken very good care of and the plastic has almost no scratches. One of the dark graphite knobs and headshell have visible signs of use (see image). Please note that we are selling the SK55 as a decoration item. It is currently not functional. All parts original! Sold as a prestige design collectible.
